Vocational Directions Assessment

Vocational Directions Assessment (VDA) is used to identify realistic, attainable and cost-effective vocational options for individuals who require assistance in changing their career path.

The process includes an in-person interview with the client to obtain vocational history, non-paid work experiences, educational/training background, transferable skills, special skills, work successes/challenges and areas of interest. It may also include an assessment of current physical, cognitive and social functioning and a preliminary Labour Market Survey.

Job Demands Analysis

A Job Demands Analysis (JDA) provides an objective, detailed description and classification of the physical, social and cognitive requirements of essential job tasks so that the employer may match workers to jobs that they are able to competently and safely perform.
